Apricot Sunrise

Apricots flatter the palate with their incomparable creaminess. Our Apricot Sunrise is not only extra creamy, but also rich in fiber and a real vitamin bomb!

Ingredients

  • 1kg apricots
  • 4 bananas
  • 400 g concentrated milk, alternatively natural yoghurt
  • 400 ml orange juice, alternatively two whole organic oranges
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 tbsp liquid honey
  • Shish kebab skewers for garnish (optional)

Preparation

Halve the apricots and remove the seeds. Peel the bananas and put the fruit in the blender. If you would like to garnish your smoothies with apricot wedges, set aside two wedges per glass. If you use fresh oranges instead of orange juice, chop them up and put them in the blender too. The fruit is immediately sprinkled with lemon juice and then mixed for 30 seconds.

Then add the concentrated milk or yoghurt and the honey and let the mixer run again for around a minute.Divide the smoothie among the glasses provided. For a wonderfully fruity look, place the reserved apricot wedges on the wooden skewers and garnish the smoothie with them.

Tip: The Apricot Sunrise is particularly easy to enjoy through a thick drinking straw or with a spoon!

Green Summer

Green smoothies contain largely of plant greens. The valuable ingredients it contains can only be used by humans if the plant cells are chopped up particularly thoroughly before consumption.

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls of celery leafy greens
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 small zucchini
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 tomatoes
  • Some lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp organic cold-pressed oil (hemp oil or linseed oil are particularly delicious!)

Preparation

Add the greens and vegetables to the blender and mix thoroughly. A homogeneous mass should emerge. Now add the oil, salt and pepper and mix again for around a minute. If the smoothie is too creamy for you, add a little water to thin it out.

Tip: If you don't dilute it, you can also enjoy the smoothie as a delicious, cold summer soup!

A Midsummer Night's Dream

The most delicious fruits grow in home gardens in late summer. Cherries and mirabelle plums are waiting to be picked by gourmets. An herb that has almost been forgotten and is often viewed as a weed also has its peak season in late summer. Purslane, a slightly sour and nutty tasting plant, makes our late summer smoothie a very special treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls of cherries, fresh or from a jar
  • 2 handfuls of mirabelle plums
  • ½ organic lemon
  • Around 200 g endive salad
  • 100 g purslane
  • Some water

Preparation

Remove the seeds from the cherries and mirabelle plums and put them in the blender. If you have an unsprayed organic lemon available, add it to the blender, slightly chopped with the peel. Plant peels contain valuable secondary plant substances that are said to have a high antioxidant effect! Add the lettuce and purslane and mix for about a minute.

Depending on the consistency and taste preference, you can dilute the smoothie with a little water. Pour the drink into prepared glasses and then store the smoothie in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Tip: If you don't have purslane growing in your garden and can't find it on the market, you can use other aromatic herbs as an alternative. Feel free to experiment, our Midsummer Night's Dream will surprise you again and again, depending on the herbal mixture you use!
