The Apple In Liquid Frrm: Smoothies And Drinks

Green Apple Kale Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 green apple, diced
  • 3 leaves fresh kale, washed and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 glass of water (approx. 250 ml)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)

Preparation:

Mix green apple, fresh kale, half a banana and a glass of water. For an additional source of protein, add chia seeds. Wash the green apple, core it and cut it into cubes. Wash and roughly chop the kale.
Put the apple, kale, banana and water in a blender and mix well until a homogeneous liquid is formed. Optionally add chia seeds and mix briefly again. Serve immediately.


Apple Cinnamon Shake

Ingredients :

  • 1 whole apple, diced
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 250 ml almond milk
  • 2 tbsp oat flakes

Preparation:

Combine apple pieces, a pinch of cinnamon, almond milk and a handful of oats. An energetic start to the day!
Wash the apple, core it and cut it into cubes. Put the apple, cinnamon, almond milk and oat flakes in a blender and mix well .Pour into a glass and enjoy.


Hearty And Delicious: Apple In Main Courses

 Ingredients:

  • Apple curry
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp curry paste
  • 400 ml coconut milk

Preparation :

Fry apple pieces with onions and garlic, add curry paste and let it simmer. Add coconut milk and serve with rice. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Wash the apples, core them and cut them into cubes.
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the onions, garlic and apple cubes in it. Add curry paste and fry briefly. Deglaze with coconut milk and simmer on a low heat until the apples are soft .Season with salt and pepper.

Salad With Apple And Nuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple, cut into wedges
  • 200 g mixed salad
  • 50 g roasted nuts (e.g. walnuts or almonds)
  • 50g feta, crumbled

Dressing:

  • 3 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey

Preparation :

Mix apple slices, mixed salad, roasted nuts and feta. A dressing made from olive oil, lemon juice and honey rounds it all off. Wash the apple and cut into thin wedges .Roughly chop the nuts and lightly toast them in a pan without oil.
To make the dressing, mix olive oil, lemon juice and honey in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper .Mix mixed salad, apple slices, roasted nuts and crumbled feta in a large bowl. DCrizzle the dressing over it and mix everything well.


Sweet Temptation: Desserts Without Regrets

Ingredients :

  • Baked apple with nut filling
  • 1 apple
  • 50 g mixed nuts (e.g. walnuts, almonds), chopped
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation :

Core an apple and stuff it with a mixture of chopped nuts, raisins and cinnamon. Bake until soft and golden brown .Preheat the oven to 180°C.Wash the apple and remove the core, creating a kind of “tunnel”.Mix nuts, raisins and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Pour the mixture into the “tunnel” of the apple .Place the stuffed apple in a small baking pan and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the apple is soft and slightly golden brown.

Sugar-free Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Ingredients :

  • 2 ripe apples, diced
  • 200g whole meal flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml apple juice

Preparation :

Use ripe apples, whole wheat flour, cinnamon and baking powder for a healthy version of the popular pastry. Preheat the oven to 180°C.Wash the apples, core them and cut them into small cubes .In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, cinnamon and baking powder.
In another bowl, crack the eggs and mix with the apple juice. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ones and mix well. Then fold in the apple cubes.
Pour batter into muffin cups and bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes.
